Dear Valued Patients,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. After 30 fulfilling years of practicing plastic surgery and sharing in your journeys, I have made the bittersweet decision to retire. Whether your journey was through cancer reconstruction or whether it was to enhance your beauty and confidence, it has been my honor that you included me.

This decision was not made lightly, as being your trusted surgeon has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Witnessing your transformations and knowing that I played a part in helping you achieve your goals has been an honor beyond words.

As I transition into retirement, I am committed to ensuring that your care continues seamlessly. I want to ensure that all your ongoing needs are met. Dr. Aaron Smith, a highly skilled and compassionate surgeon with whom I have collaborated over the last 14 years, will be available to provide you with the same level of aesthetic surgical care and expertise. You can reach Dr. Smith at (719) 355-1956. If your care requires insurance, I would like to refer you to the breast care team at the University of Colorado for follow-up. Drs. Nancy and Stacy Wong at UC Health will have easy access to your past surgical history and will be able to provide follow-up.

Please do not hesitate to contact our office for assistance during this transition. After January 1, 2025, Dr. Smith’s staff will answer my phones and be able to help you. All patients may find their medical records through the UC Health App, which can be accessed through the Apple and Google App stores. Referral information may also be found on this website.
